HISTORY OF LOVE is a co-production between Slovenia, Italy, Norway and Croatia with international cast and expected delivery in the beginning of 2018.

It was developed in co-operation with EAVE, TorinoFilmLab and Midpoint.
Development awards and support: EAVE Scholarship AwardFilm London and New Cinema Network Espresso Award (NCN Rome); supported by RE-ACT Co-Development Funding Scheme by the Friuli-Venezia-Giulia Audiovisual Fund, the Slovenian Film Centre and the Croatian Audiovisual Centre (link to Screendaily), MEDIA Creative Europe.

SYNOPSIS: After the death of her mother a girl submerges into a world completely different from the one she is used to, to come to terms with her new reality. Marked by a thriller-like atmosphere the story takes us on a journey through the past and the present, through guilt and anger, grief and newly awakening desires.

History of Love is the sophomore feature from the director Sonja Prosenc. Her acclaimed debut feature film The Tree was developed at EAVE and Baltic Event and premiered at Karlovy Vary IFF 2014. In its festival run the film received FIPRESCI Prize and other awards, and excellent reviews (read more here). It was the Slovenian OSCAR Entry 2016.
